YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!As you can clearly see, I absolutely love the Waste. Here's their latest effort, Massive Aggressive. It's a bit slower and the lyrics are a bit more 'mature' (they stopped singing about zombies and beer), but it still kicks ass.1) Masked By Delirium2) Mech-Cannibal3) Divine Blasphemer4) Massive Aggresive5) Wolves of Chernobyl6) Relentless Threat7) The Wrath of the Severed Head8) Upside Down Church9) Shredded Offering10) Media Skeptic11) Horny for Blood12) Wrong Answer13) Acid SentenceMyspaceDownload link removed at request of record company

I was pleasantly surprised with Goatwhore's new album. Naturally, I was expecting another A Haunting Curse, but this album has a heavier, thrashier feel to it. As far as lyrics go, it's still the same Goatwhore we've all come to love (or not). Overall, Carving Out The Eyes Of God is an improvement from Goatwhore's last album.1) Apocalyptic Havoc2) The All-Destroying3) Carving Out The Eyes Of God4) Shadow Of A Rising Knife5) Provoking The Ritual Of Death6) In Legions, I Am Wars Of Wrath7) Reckoning Of The Soul Made Godless8) This Passing Into The Power Of Demons9) Razor Flesh Devoured10) To Mourn And Forever Wander Through Forgotten DoorwaysMyspaceDownload

Once again, I'm posting material made by a friend of mine. My buddy Arafat lives in Bangladesh and is the vocalist for two bands: Auflader and Zero Burn. Auflader is a melodeath project, whereas Zero Burn is deathrash with a hint of groove. Both bands are totally awesome!1) Deathlike Silence- Auflader2) Reign- Zero Burn

Skeletonwitch have made themselves one of the best heavy metal bands of the 21st century ever since the release of Beyond the Permafrost. Unlike many modern thrash bands, Skeletonwitch creates their own sound by mixing thrash, black metal, and blistering solos, as heard on the blackened shredfest that is the band's sophomore effort. If you haven't heard Skeletonwitch yet, then I suggest you hurry up and give this a spin.1) Upon Wings of Black2) Beyond the Permafrost3) Baptized in Flames4) Sacrifice for the Slaughtergod5) Vengeance Will Be Mine6) Limb From Limb7) Cast into the Open Sea8) Fire From the Sky9) Soul Thrashing Black Sorcery10) Remains of the Defeated11) Feast Upon Flesh12) Within My BloodMyspaceDownload (Mediafire)Download (Megaupload)
After listening to Kragens, I can actually say that there's at least one French metal band I enjoy. Kragens of France plays a brand of power/thrash quite similar to that of Nevermore. However, Kragens vocalist Renaud Espeche (who sounds like a cross between Warrel Dane and Roy Khan) also employs the use of harsh vocals. Infight is the band's third full-length release. I really don't have much else to say, but listen, headbang, and enjoy!1) Deaf and Blind2) Lake of Fire3) Angels Among Monsters4) Tyranny of God5) Ten Treasons We Fight6) The Falling Man7) Only The Weak Survive8) Mask of the Damned9) MetalizeMyspaceDownload (Mediafire)Download (Megaupload)
Sorry for making you wait so long for another album. Now that I'm posting stuff again, I'll start with one of my favorite albums from this year so far, Legion of the Damned's Feel the Blade. Legion of the Damned, originally known as Occult, is a dutch deathrash band. The best thing about them is the fact they're fucking brutal. Feel the Blade is a reissue of the band's album Elegy for the Weak which was released when the band still went by the name Occult. However, the tracklisting on this album is different and there are also three bonus tracks: "Last Command," "Mask of Terror," and "Chronic Infection."1) Nuclear Torment2) Nocturnal Predator3) Slaughtering the Pigs4) Slut of Sodom5) Feel the Blade6) Expire7) Warbeast8) Disturbing the Dead9) Obsessed by the Grave10) Reaper's CallMyspaceDownload (Mediafire)Download (Megaupload)

Seriously, what is it about Italians that makes them so awesome when it comes to extreme metal? Out of all the countries in the world, Italy has some of the best thrashers right after Germany and the United States. Death Mechanism is the epitome of retro thrash. After 25 seconds of heartbeats, the opening riffs of "Anthropic Collapse" tell you that this band is heavily the German "Big 3" (Kreator, Destruction, and Sodom). Then come the lyrics, which are typical thrash lyrics about death, war, destruction, politics, etc. Hell, the band was formerly known as O.D.O. which stands for Odio, Distruzione, Orrore meaning "Hate, Destruction, Horror" in Italian. Finally, the promo picture featuring all three members in black band t-shirts, denim vests and bullet belts. Despite this obvious worship of the old-school, Death Mechanism manages to be one of my favorite thrash bands of the new century and Human Error...Global Terror one of my favorite albums of the year so far. Is this album creative and original? Nope. Is this album great headbanging material? Fuck yeah!1) Intro2) Anthropic Collapse3) Necrotechnology4) Blood Engine5) Genuin-cide6) Contaminated Soil7) Unknown Pathology8) A Good Reason To Kill9) The Frail Path of Peace10) War Mechanism11) Slaughter in the JetsetMyspaceDownload (Mediafire)Download (Megaupload)
Fuckin' Slayer! Finally an album by my favorite band. Decade of Aggression is probably my favorite live album. The first disc contains a basic Slayer setlist which would include some of their most famous songs such as "Angel of Death," "South of Heaven," and "Raining Blood." The second disc focuses more on album tracks but is the more intense of the two with songs like "Black Magic," "Spirit in Black," and "Postmortem." Although this album gives you a good idea of what a Slayer show would be like, you would actually have to go to one of their concerts to truly experience the chaos.Disc 1:1) Hell Awaits2) The Anti-Christ3) War Ensemble4) South of Heaven5) Raining Blood6) Altar of Sacrifice7) Jesus Saves8) Dead Skin Mask9) Seasons in the Abyss10) Mandatory Suicide11) Angel of DeathDisc 2:1) Hallowed Point2) Blood Red3) Die By The Sword4) Black Magic5) Captor of Sin6) Born of Fire7) Postmortem8) Spirit in Black9) Expendable Youth10) Chemical WarfareMyspaceDownload (Mediafire)Download (Megaupload)
I've had this album for a while now and I never though much of it. However, I gave Blood Fire Death a listen a few days ago and I wanted to slap myself in the face for not realizing that this is among the best black metal albums ever! For a black metal album, the guitar work is mind blowing. High-speed shredding is one of the last things I'd expect from the album that started the viking metal movement. Hell, Blood Fire Death has more in common with thrash than black metal! If you aren't a fan of black metal, but you do like excellent guitar work that can be found in thrash and death metal, then I would recommend that you check out this album.1) Oden's Ride Over Nordland2) A Fine Day To Die3) The Golden Walls of Heaven4) Pace 'Till Death5) Holocaust6) For All Those Who Died7) Dies Irae8) Blood Fire Death9) OutroMyspaceDownload (Mediafire)Download (Megaupload)
This is the third and final album of my American metal weekend...god, I just realized how cheesy this idea was. Whatever:Nuclear Assault's Game Over is one of my favorite thrash albums. Danny Lilker, who plays bass on this album (as well as in many other bands), is also one of my favorite bassists. If you grew up anywhere in the Northeastern United States, mainly New York or New Jersey, then you should hear a familiar tune halfway through the album.1) Live, Suffer, Die2) Sin3) Cold Steel4) Betrayal5) Radiation Sickness6) Hang the Pope7) After the Holocaust8) Mr. Softee Theme9) Stranded in Hell10) Nuclear War11) My America12) Vengeance13) Brain DeathMyspace

Deathrash usually implies that a band's style is a mix of thrash metal and pure straight-up death metal. Final Breath on the other hand adds a bit of melody to the mix. Despite this change to the norm, the band still manages to be brutal yet melodic.1) Under Pressure2) Mind Explosion3) Killed By Lust4) Break Down5) Nondescript6) White Prison7) When Love Turns To Hate8) The Punisher9) To Live and To Die10) CarelessMyspaceDownload (Mediafire)Download (Megaupload)
Bonded By Blood is one of the many bands leading the modern thrash metal movement. If you couldn't already guess, the name of their band is a tribute to the famous debut album of their heroes Exodus. Since I love this band so much, here's their first EP AND their debut album.
